| The futures ticket in Neovest 7.0 allows users to trade indexes, commodities, minis, calendar spreads, and other contracts in an easy-to-use format. Neovest connects users to futures destinations and exchanges globally.
Neovest supports trading of Futures Calendar Spreads. A calendar spread refers to buying a futures contract that expires one month and selling one that expires in a different month of the same commodity.
For example, within Neovest, you can track the S&P 500 E-Mini calendar spread by entering the symbol ESZ0-ESH1 (December 2010 and March 2011 contracts) on to a QuoteWatch or QuickQuote window. Then, you can actually trade this symbol from the Futures order ticket with a trading venue that accepts futures calendar spreads. Neovest tracks the order as each leg is filled and returns P&L information.
